Alcohol Policy
The Mixed case will not sell or deliver alcohol to anyone who appears to be under age. You must be 18 years and over to purchase alcohol from our website and by placing an order with us you confirm to us that you are at least 18 years of age. The Mixed Case reserves the right to ask for identification on delivery and if we feel unsure of your age we reserve the right not to deliver to you.
Buying Online
Our website works much like any other shopping website and placing an order is simple. To place an order for the first time, you will need to register to access the site’s secure server. You can add products to your trolley until you have finished shopping and proceed to the check out.
- Our minimum order is for 6 standard bottles, you can mix your own case or buy a case of wine from our Mixed Case selection page.
- The minimum purchase amount does not apply to our gift section.
Confirmation and product availability will be advised to you once we have processed the order.
- All good are offered subject to availability but we do not guarantee specific vintages.
- We reserve the right not to accept an order.
Delivery
We will deliver in the UK within 7 working days, however parts of Scotland , Northern Ireland, the Channel Isles, the Scilly Isles and Isles of Man and Wight are allocated special postal rates, please check with us for shipping rates before placing your order.
If you live within a 12 mile radius and wish to collect your order from our warehouse, you can telephone us or email us and we will have your order ready for collection on the next available collection day.
- Warehouse Collection Days are Friday afternoon and Saturday mornings by appointment only.
- If you wish to have your order delivered by us and live within a 12 miles radius, please let us know. Any orders over £100.00 are Free of delivery charges, order below have a delivery charge of £5.00 per case.
- We use a courier company to deliver outside of our 12 mile radius as well as nationwide and delivery will be charged at £8.99 (incl. VAT) unless otherwise stated.
- The courier will only attempt to deliver the product twice, after which we regret you will have to make your own arrangements with them for re-delivery. The product will be returned to our warehouse if it does not get collected from the delivery agent.
We reserve the right to pass on any re-delivery charges.
- From time to time we offer free delivery on a minimum order of 12 bottles as part of a promotional offer. Please see the homepage for these promotions.
Prices
All our prices on the website are inclusive of VAT but not delivery.
From time to time we make promotional offers and the prices are as stated and no further discounts are available on such products.
Although we endeavour to ensure that pricing information on the website are correct, errors can occur.
If we discover such an error we will use our discretion to contact you and cancel the order or proceed with the order at the correct price.
We reserve the right to change/adjust prices of our products at any time.
If you wish to receive a VAT invoice you can contact us and this will be provided either with the order or send out by separate post or email.
Return Policy
We ask all our customers to check the goods upon receipt and contact us within 24 hours should goods to be found faulty in any way. Corked bottles should be returned to us if at all possible.
We offer a full refund or replacement of the faulty goods.
